1999 - PROUD MEMBERS OF THE BIOMNIS GROUP
In 1999, the laboratory became a proud member of the internationally renowned Biomnis Group and able to offer rapid turnaround times in over 3,000 clinical tests across all biomedical disciplines from one source. Processing over 250,000 patient tests per week, we provide the most comprehensive test menu, from routine assays such as glucose to the most advanced molecular biology techniques to meet your diagnostic requirements.
2002 - BIOMNIS LOGISTICS DIVISION
In 2002, Eurofins Biomnis added our own nationwide diagnostic and infectious specimen transport service that fully complies with ADR & IATA guidelines and with the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road legislation.
Today, our Logistics Division is known as Eurofins Lablink. Accredited to ISO 9001 standard, Eurofins Lablink operates Ireland’s largest fleet of dedicated specimen transport vehicles. With a proven track record and unrivaled experience in the transport of biological specimens, our integrated transportation network provides our clients with the peace of mind of knowing their samples will arrive on time and suitable for analysis every time.
2011 - ACQUISITION OF LABLINK LIMITED
In 2011, Eurofins Biomnis acquired Lablink, a recognised clinical laboratory service provider since 2001. This acquisition was a natural fit and allowed Eurofins Biomnis to capitalise on the synergies between both companies and greatly enhance our service offering to health care professionals in both the public and private sectors.
2015 - BIOMNIS JOINS EUROFINS SCIENTIFIC
A landmark moment in the history of the laboratory is the year 2015, when Biomnis joined the Eurofins network of companies. 2017 - EUROFINS BIOMNIS ACQUIRES MEDICAL CONSULTANTS PATHOLOGY GROUP (EUROFINS PATHOLOGY)
In January 2017, Eurofins Biomnis acquires the Medical Consultants Pathology Group, an independent private histology laboratory, established in January 2013, and now known as Eurofins Pathology. In July 2017, MC Pathology relocated to a new purpose-built laboratory at Eurofins Biomnis. The move enabled the Group to consolidate all our clinical diagnostics services in Ireland under one roof and will ensure additional capacity and enhanced support over the coming years.
2021 - EUROFINS SCIENTIFIC ACQUIRES SANDYFORD CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS LTD.
In February of 2021, Eurofins Scientific completes the acquisition of Sandyford Clinical Diagnostics Limited. In November 2021, the newly acquired laboratory changes its name to Eurofins Biomnis, Blackthorn Road Site.
