Source & Drip Water Analysis
Understanding the chemical composition of both your source water, and drain/drip water, is key to effective greenhouse management. Eurofins Agro offers analysis to enable you to formulate an effective strategy to maximise yield whilst managing costs.
Source Water
Your water source is a vital input to the greenhouse system. Regardless of whether you use borehole, rain, well or surface water, we are able to provide the information you need to make wise decisions.
Our typical analysis will consider the following:
- Bicarbonate (HCO3) and pH
- Sodium (Na) and Chloride (Cl)
- Electrical Conductivity (EC)
- Calcium (Ca)
- Magnesium (Mg)
- Total Iron (Fe)
Using this information, a water scheme will be calculated (HCO3.Ca.Mg.SO4.NO3.K).
When analysing substrate, the water scheme will be used to calculate tailored fertilisation advice specific to your source water, alongside a calculation of the amount of acid required to neutralise HCO3.
Drip Water
We are also able to analyse drip water, so that you know exactly what you are giving your plants.
